Thermal Cooking Workshops
How the thermal cooking workshops work:
After many requests to watch me prepare meals, I have figured out a way to do it. Part of the problem has been that when I actually cook food to show in a presentation, several hours later I have lots of food which needs to be eaten. So in my attempt to solve this problem, I decided to let the class attendees sign up to take the prepared food home. This is how it will run.
Thermal Cooking Workshops will be held during the day, for the most part around lunchtime. This way we can enjoy a nice lunch together with food I bring already prepared and waiting in a thermal cooker.
I will be demonstrating how to prepare 4 to 5 meals in the thermal cooker during the workshop.
Three to four of these meals will be available to the class members to take home for their families. A night off in the kitchen.
One meal will be for the host of the class as a thank you for having us in their home.
There will be a menu for each class listed, those wishing to take a meal home will sign up and pay for the meal of their liking. It will be on a first come first serve basis. There will be a charge for these meal, for the most part around $30.
If you purchase a meal you will need to bring the appropriate number of cookers with you to take the meal home in. The number required will be listed when you purchase the meal, it will be either 1 or 2. If you do not own the number required you can borrow one or purchase one at the class group buy price. If you decide to purchase a cooker and would like it before the workshop, it can be picked up or shipped.
There will be a $10 fee for each person coming to the workshop. If you are purchasing a meal to take home, the $10 is inclueded in the price of the meal. You will prepay on this page under the appropriate class.
I also have a giveaway program for my classes and workshops this year. I will be giving away FREE stuff! The number in attendance will determine the number of giveaways given away during the event.
