Stainless Steel Trivet. The trivet is used in the thermal cooker to increase the thermal mass when using containers in the thermal cooker. By elevating the container so that more water is in the pot, more thermal mass is created. More thermal mass means that the food will stay hotter longer in the thermal cooker.
